The Austrian Sculpture Park is located to the south of Graz. Since 2003 the permanent exhibition established itself as a center for contemporary sculpture. The park, which was designed by an Austrian landscape architect, covers more than seven hectares. It accommodates more than 60 sculptures and works of art. A leisurely tour of the whole area will take you a little bit more than one hour.
Mobile Tagged Sculptures
The weather-exposed sculptures blend in with or respond to the landscape. They range from abstract sculptures to everyday objects, from anthropomorphic figurations to utilitarian objects.
In addition to guided tours or workshops, the Austrian Sculpture Park also offers mobile tagging. You can use your smartphone’s camera to scan QR codes at the entrance. This enables you to read further information about the sculptures in different languages.
