This is definitely one of the best places we have been, which is suitable for small children during the summertime! The Schwechat river is only about 10 – 50 cm deep for most of the parts, it is a paradise for children who cannot yet swim but love to play in the water. They can look for fish, build a dam or picking some nice stones in the water. The forest around has also attracted lots of people come for hiking.

People who love adventures can visit the two castle ruins nearby: Raucheneck and Rauchenstein.

There is a carpark opposite Landgasthof Cholerakapelle, you can access the riverside from there.
